Proposed is an improved contact cleaning roll assembly comprising attaching a drip pan in a cleaning roll assembly of a photoreceptor coating facility, in such a manner that the drip pan can move with the assembly allowing easy access to it for cleaning.

A present contact cleaning roll assembly has a large end to end, stainless steel drip pan that makes servicing the unit very cumbersome. The new drip pan design allows for easy access when servicing, or loading web material. The purpose of the drip pan is to capture ethanol and water used to clean the contact rolls if it drips from the cleaning head. The new, smaller drip pan design, translates with the cleaning head mechanism, and contain any ethanol and water that drips from the head.
