Abstract

Disclosed is a platform for mounting a workstation to an Input-Output Terminal (IOT). As shown in the accompanying figure, the platform 60 comprises a base assembly 10 mounted to a processor rail 12 of IOT 20. A housing assembly 30 attached to the base assembly 10 accommodates a Central Processing Unit (CPU) 32, tape drive 34, and a modem 36 and serves as a platform for a monitor 38 The (CPU) 32 mounts to the housing assembly 30 with slides (not shown) that accommodate service accessibility from the rear. An adjustable leg assembly 40 mounts to the housing assembly 30 to provide stability and rigidity of the platform 60.
