Abstract

Disclosed is the saving of "registered color" information in non-volatile memory on an clectrophotographic printing machine instead of the procedure of entering it for each job. A "registered color" is one that is designated or scanned in, and stored for use within a print job. The information is entered for each account and automatically retrieved on account entry. The memory holding job setups for a particular account also has the capability of saving billing information.
