Abstract

Disclosed is an adjustable interface plate used to mount a variety of parts to a common base for robotic assembly in a production or laboratory environment. In the accompanying figure, interface plate 10 has an adjustable pattern of tapped holes 18 that facilitate a wide range of parts with various hole patterns. Interface plate 10 comprises a stationary block 14 mounted thereon along with a plurality of interconnecting moveable blocks 16. Each of the moveable blocks 16 and stationary block 14 have one of the tapped holes 18 machined therein. A series of rods 12 connected between each of the moveable blocks 16 and stationary block 14 allow the moveable blocks 16 to slide back and forth in X and Y directions with reference to stationary block 14.
