Abstract

Disclosed is a two-dimensional job queue display for use on a multifunctional electrophotographic system providing copy, print, file, fax, and test pattern functionality. Each functionality request corresponds to a system job (i.e., a copy request is incorporated into a copy job). As shown in the accompanying figure, job types are the vertical dimensions of the queue. The sets of jobs for each job type comprise the horizontal dimension. The queue is displayed on a local or remote user interface (UI) where an ordering value such as 1, 2, .... N is displayed adjacent to each job. Active jobs are displayed as "Current" and jobs that run concurrently with each other may have the same order value.
