Abstract

Disclosed is a lifting device designed to aid in the installation and removal of a belt photoreceptor module from electrophotographic printers and copiers during a manufacturing operation. During an inspection process, for example, it is required that the photoreceptor module be removed and re-installed after the photoreceptor is tested. Because of the weight of the module, its position in the machine, and the repetition of the process there is the possibility of injury to a worker and damage to the machine being inspected.
