Abstract

Disclosed is the utilization of 1,3,5-triethylhexahydo- 1,3,5-triazine as an advantaged buffering agent in Thermal Ink Jet (TLT) inks. Basic or Cationic Dyes use cationic ammonium substituents as solubility aids in aqueous systems rather than having anionic groups for solvation as found in direct, reactive, and acid dyes.
