A low resistance wrist strap loop antenna for a wrist worn device comprising only two (2) separable electrical connections. The first connection is the fixed side of the watch where a mechanical fastening means is used to retain the strap and apply force between the flat metal antenna and a spring contact or a zebra connector. The antenna is a continuous strip material for the full strap length and it is able to be trimmed at the open strap end for adjustment to the users wrist. The user separable end of the strap attaches with a downward motion into an opening in the lugs. The user can latch the strap using pressure directed toward the wrist while the key feature prevents the strap and watch from separating. The interface between the watch case and strap provides a large area to effect a reliable, stable spring contact connection resistant to loss of contact force. The elimination of one connection point for the antenna will reduce the overall loop resistance by approximately 30%.
