 The invention aims at polyphenylene ether adhesive can be used to bond pipes made from both PVC resin and modified polyphenylene ether resin. Specifically, it aims at offering an adhesive that is ideal to use for recycling modified polyphenylene ether resin pipes and joints.
BACKGROUND OF INVENTION
 The invention relates to a polyphenylene either adhesive that can use recycled polyphenylene ether resin, without affecting the bonding of PVC pipe, polyphenylene ether resin pipe.
 From the past, the rigid PVC resin pipes are joined with the help of mechanical joints, such as bolt and nut; ultrasonic wave, vibratory motion by generation of heat; method of melting and fusing the resin surface by hot plate and hot melt method where molten resin is applied over the adhesive layer, hardening of adhesion process after applying adhesive layer.
 Among these, the simplest method of joint by adhesive without requiring any special equipment is widely used. Examples of the adhesive are thermosetting type prepared by chemical reaction after mixing two solutions; thermosetting type prepared by reaction with moisture; thermosetting type prepared by thermal chemical reaction by heating at high temperature; thermosetting type prepared after dissolving resin components in organic solvent or water, and drying the solvent and thermosetting type where adhered resin is once dissolved in solvent component without containing resin components, and dried.
 PVC pipes are comparatively lightweight material, and are easy to process. But it possesses inadequate strength, heat resistance. Therefore, addition of impact resistance improving agent, processing material, heat stabilizer, and improvement in processing method were made. Recently, various types of pipes are widely used.
 When transmission pipes, common electrical pipes, electrical heat resistant pipes made from PVC were recycled, there was a concern over generation of “chlorine” by thermal decomposition during molding process. It was very difficult to build a recycle system inside the manufacturing process and from post consumer recycled material. In chlorinated PVC that imparts heat resistance by raising the chlorination rate, although heat resistance was improved by raising the chlorination rate, molding temperature was also raised, the heat decomposition temperature of resin was approached during recycling, or exceeded, and there was a concern about generation of chlorine by thermal decomposition of resin.
 Moreover, since polyvinyl chloride contains chlorine, it may produce poisonous chlorine depending on the incineration method. Furthermore, when buried under the ground, heavy metal stabilizer or poly vinyl chloride monomer contained in poly vinyl chloride was released, and environmental problems were faced, such as soil pollution. Thus, a substitute of poly vinyl chloride was desired.
 The pipe material using resin in place of PVC is proposed under such circumstances.
