Abstract

When preparing for a large migration of any type the first step is to see what the status of the existing machines is. When the users are mobile it is not possible to physically visit each machine and do an inventory on it. This process and tool are used to collect the needed information without having a desk side representative (DSR) visit the machine.

This mail contained a button that detached the required file, as the executable and any control files, and then executed the executable.

The process steps are:

Email addresses of recipients are collected

Recipient runs the EMM IT(Mobile) tool on the machine

Fill in or change the data in the dialogs presented by the tool

Submit the collected information to the server
