Abstract

The screwdriver blade illustrated in the figure provides two edges to fit two different screw sizes. It is designed to fit the outer case system screws and the inside option screws on IBM Personal Computers in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Material is normal tool steel as commonly used in single blade screwdrivers. The second surface is achieved in the mold. Prototypes are achieved by machining an existing screwdriver. The design may be extended to other size screws, not requiring high torque levels.
