Abstract

An attachment to any type/size setting tool device, used as a manipulator, to function a designed set of bow springs, fingers, claws, or paddles which may or may not contain teeth. The purpose of this invention is for the retrieval of an object or objects that have been left in a wellbore due to foreseen or unforeseen reasons. The novelty of this retrieval tool is that it utilizes a setting tool to accuate the springs, fingers, claws or paddles.

The purpose of this invention is for the retreival of an object or objects that have been left in a wellbore due to forseen or unforseen reasons. The novelty of this retrieval tool is that it utilizes a setting tool to accuate the springs,fingers,claws, or paddles.

1. Describe the invention in detail. Describe the preferred manner of practicing the invention including listing the steps, method, composition and operation of the invention. Point out features that are believed to be new and how the invention overcomes the disadvantages of the old manner. Attach electronic documents such as sketches, drawings, photographs, logs, etc., as needed. Non-electronic documents must be sent to the Legal Department representatives.  Three spring steel bow's attached to a sub which is then attached to a setting tool with a setting sleeve. The assembly is lowered into a well bore and positioned over the debris or lost tools via electric line or drill pipe and the setting tool is activated. When the setting tool is activated the setting sleeve is forced down around the bow springs thus making them close around an object.
