Abstract

Disclosed is a latch mechanism comprising a single part which operates as a button, spring and latch. The latch mechanism is attached to a box, such as cartridge, and latches the box to the container. It can change the force direction into the different angle. Its isometric view is shown in Fig. 1. Before assembling, its end portion should be lifted on the angled surface, as shown in Fig. 2. Referring to Figs. 3 and 4, when the button is pushed, the end portion climbs up the angled surface. The force is released, and the button and the latch come back to their home position by two spring forces. The cover, which has two holes for the latch and button, guides horizontal and vertical movement.
