Abstract

Disclosed is a container for adapting the number of equipment orders made by a customer which include a container and an additional cover. The figure shows a container for packing electronic equipment, such as an image scanner, and option parts, such as an optional card and software. The container is made of corrugated cardboard and includes a container 1 and an additional cover 2. The container 1 has its own cover 3. If a customer orders the image scanner, it is packed within the bottom part 1 at the manufacturing plant and shipped to the customer. If the customer orders both the image scanner and optional part 4, the optional part 4 and a cushion 5 are placed on the cover 3, and enclosed by the additional cover 2. The cover 2 has tabs 6 each of which has an extended portion 6a.
