Icon for the Menu Tree

Provided is an icon for selection of the Menu Tree function from an attribute bar or other selection device to overcome the deficiencies of conventional icon presentations.

The icon used to represent the Menu Tree function is shown below:

The icon is selectable by mouse or cursor to invoke the Menu Tree function. The Menu Tree is displayed in a window. When the Menu Tree Window is minimized, the Menu Tree icon is displayed in the icon "parking lot." The icon displays a reduced image of the content of the Menu Tree Window, together with an indication of which are the currently open windows in the menu hierarchy.

The benefit to the user is a visual representation of the function in a manner similar to how the function is displayed in a window and a mouse interaction style which is useful for visual cues to the user about the existence of the function.
