PVC "Roller" Cart W/Safety Latch

Disclosed is a corrosion-free and compact PVC roller cart for transporting and transferring heavy containers, baskets, etc., from one process to another without lifting the object (Fig. 1).

This cart has a set of fiberglass rollers 1 slanted (approximately 3 degrees) to retain the object during transfer between a stop bar 3 and a safety latch (Fig. 2), preventing the object from rolling off the cart in case of stopping.

This safety latch (Fig. 2) is deactivated by pushing the actuator lever 2 against the equipment frame which lowers the stop below the front rollers, permitting the "object" to be released and transferred onto or from the conveyor.
