Install/Remove Help Messages for an Installation Session

A program method is disclosed to provide a fast, efficient and user-friendly interface for allowing disk space allotment to the user. This method is performed during installation of a software product.

The installation or removal of the HELP messages for a particular software product gives the user the option to control his disk space allotment for installed software.

The option to install or remove the Help messages provides the user with a message that indicates whether the Helps are "Installed" or "Not installed". This information assures the user of the status of this choice.

If the "Not Installed" option is displayed, the default choice, which is highlighted, would be at the "Install the Help messages." If the "Installed" option is displayed, the default choice, would be at the "Remove Help messages".

This program method gives the user the option to remove help messages to free up more disk space.

The user can easily reinstall the Help messages, once the Helps have been removed.
