Geometric Windows

Provided is a technique for creation of windows of non- rectangular shapes to overcome difficulties of conventional window shapes.

The technique allows for definition of more graphic and visual objects, e.g., telephones, clocks, etc. Window shapes include circles, triangles, irregular shapes, and other geometric forms. The properties of conventional windows are retained, e.g., sizing and moving.

The benefits to the end user are increased screen space, easy learning due to conceptual simplifications of display forms, and consistency with conventional windows.
