Graphic Timestamp

Provided is a graphical technique for users to timestamp objects in order to overcome the deficiencies of current techniques.

A visual time stamping device is provided to users. The user has only to move the object to the timestamp in order to have a graphic time and date "imprinted" upon the object. Other user-defined "markings" can be used to enhance or replace the graphic stamp. Audio is associated with the stamping action to provide audio-visual feedback that the action was completed.

The benefits to the user include new function for user- provided object marking, user control over the location and content of the stamped information, and reduced worksteps to achieve the marking results.
