Abstract

Disclosed is a combination push pull Tab and strain relief which is molded using Zytel 101 (Trademark of duPont) for its strength and memory characteristics. This design is removable from the housing thus providing rework capabilities to cable assemblies. It plugs into a modified off the shelf connector which is used throughout the cable/connector industry. The locking ears are short enough so that the cable can be plugged on any given array of pins without the necessity of cutting/removing unused pins.
