Universal Card Spacer

Disclosed is a compliant card spacer (standoff) with a fastening feature at both ends which can be snapped into a wide range of card thicknesses.

With the unique retention feature, various card thicknesses can be tolerated without loss of retention or concern for tolerance build-up. The retention feature enables the spacer to be snapped into a small diameter hole in the card and the compliant feature assures exertion of a compressive force, thus retaining the spacer within the hole.

This molded nylon spacer greatly reduces assembly time and part numbers per assembly.
