Abstract

This program allows for the plotting of a previously stored waveform. The routines allow for plotting the grid, the individual waveform or waveforms, the title, comments, date, the vertical parameters and horizontal parameters. It converts the horizontal scale to real time per division prior to plotting. It also plots the waveform file name for reference. There is also a feature which allows for writing the plot information to a file. This file together with a small "BASIC" program can be sent to a second party and allow them to perform the same plot on the same equipment. The plots are in color for better clarity and the waveform and its associated parameters are plotted in the same color for easy correlation.

Grid plot routine: This routine scales and plots the gridlines. It gives the operator an option to plot on standard 8 1/2 x 11 paper, 8 1/2 x 11 foil or 11 x 17 paper. The grid itself is representative of the grid of an oscilloscope.

Waveform data plot routine: This routine starts by reading the number of points per waveform. This provides the scaling of the waveform to the grid. In the case of a second waveform the same is done and it is plotted in a contrasting color. The ground reference point, the vertical scale and horizontal scale is also plotted.
