Beveled Stripping Surface for Forms Tractor

The beveling of edges on forms tractor support surfaces not parallel to the motion of printer forms reduces or eliminates the tendency of forms to jam during separation of forms and tractor belt.

Referring to the figure, the separation of printer of forms form their drive pins 1 occurs as the pins withdraw into narrow opening 2 of tractor surface 3 that supports the forms. The tendency of the edges of the pin feed holes or separation perforations to catch is eliminated or reduced by beveling tractor edges 4 which are not parallel to the forms motion. The angle of the bevel is approximately 30 from support surface 3.
