Abstract

A magnetic recording medium is made of a mixture of at least types of particles having opposite and equal temperature de- pendence of coercivity in the range of 0oC to 100oC. The mixture results in a magnetic medium exhibiting negligible temperature dependence of coercivity. One such mixture is equal weight of barium ferrite particles and cobalt surface modified iron oxide particles.
