Disk Transfer Tool

Figs. 1 and 2 show an operator held, single disk and pack disk transfer and assembly tool.

The tool is two pieces of stainless steel wire 2 and 3 which are bent as shown. One end of each of the wires 2 and 3 are pressed into the handle portion 5, and two plastic guides 6 are pressed, respectively, onto the other ends. In the center of the assembly is a third plastic guide 7 which is spring loaded by springs 9 in order to capture the disk 10. All the slides have a "V" groove 11 allowing for the disk 10 to be held solely by engagement with the outermost edge of the disk. The center guide 7 can either be held back by the thumb against the biasing tone of springs 9 or used as a lever to pick up the disks.
