Abstract

An adjustable, offset, single pedestal stand having casters and detachable tray provides a convenient space-saving work station mount for a display terminal and keyboard. In the figure, a U-shaped base 1 having casters 2 supports pedestal 3 with cantilever frame element 4 attached by piano hinge 5 to terminal tray 6. Pedestal 3 comprises a telescoping column adjustable to desired height and includes a cable cleat 7. A removable keyboard tray 8 having a double flange 9 can be hung from rim 10 of tray 6. Tray 6 can be tilted about hinge 5 by means of a threaded rod and hand knob (not shown) beneath element 4. The stand lends itself to use over a workbench or alongside a machine tool and is easily moved. Locking casters are provided.
