Abstract

A polydimethylsiloxane fuser oil, in which approximately 25 percent of the oil's pendant methyl groups have been replaced by pendant phenyl groups, provides a reduction in the amount of oil which will be absorbed by silicone elastomer fuser rolls as used in xerographic reproduction devices.
