Abstract

This improvement in balloon catheter angioplasty technology provides essentially concentric tubes through the balloon, the center tube being for blood flow with multiple input ports upstream in the blood vessel flow. The center tube is surrounded by a gas or liquid conveying tube that has ports inside the balloon for inflation. The principles of the structure are shown in the figure.
