Abstract

A tape edge guide or flange is made adjustable by securing at a support and flexing or articulating the guide by means of a differential screw. Two tape bearings 10 and 11 are supported by a mount 12. Each bearing is flanked by two tape guides 13 and 14. Tape guides 13 are affixed by mounting screws 15. The mounting screws also affix the bearings and the bottom portion of guides 14 to mount 12. Guides 14 may be adjustably flexed away from the bearings by differential screws 16. The differential screws have a first pitch for the bearing and a second pitch for the guide. Thus, adjustment of a screw by wrench 17 moves the guide relative to the bearing, adjusting the position of the guide.
