Abstract

A compound bubble domain switch 10, using one common conductor pulse line 12, can select bubbles from two input paths 14 and 16 and direct them into one common output path 18, as shown in the drawing. The compound switch 10 consists of a drive-to-transfer switch 20 and s drive-to-retain switch 22.

Novel Bubble Switch

A compound bubble domain switch 10, using one common conductor pulse line 12, can select bubbles from two input paths 14 and 16 and direct them into one common output path 18, as shown in the drawing. The compound switch 10 consists of a drive-to-transfer switch 20 and s drive-to-retain switch 22.

When the conductor line 12 is energized, bubbles from input path 16 pass through switch 20 to path 24 and to merge point 26 and then to output path 18. The bubbles from input path 14 pass through switch 22 to path 30 when the line is energized.

When the conductor line is not energized, bubbles from input path 14 pass through switch 22 to path 28 and to merge point 26, and then to output path 18. The bubbles from input path 16 pass through switch 20 to path 32 when the line is not energized.
