Feed Through Block

A plurality of circuit leads contained in a molded block provide increased versatility in circuit connections between circuit boards.

In the figure, a plurality of conductors 1 are formed to serve as pins 2 and strain relief leads 3, and molded in block 4. These conductors can be used to interconnect surface lands 5 with the conductive through-holes 6 of circuit board 7 on frame 8. By making the lead spacing and supporting block dimensions similar to standard components, these devices can be used with automated insertion equipment and processed through a soldering line. The leads can be of varying lengths and extend sufficiently to enable the connection of a plurality of adjacent parallel circuit boards.
