Abstract

Paper hold-down bracket 10 provides a mounting for removable paper separator bar 11 Which is captured by slot 12 and ledge 13. The insertion of paper 14 is facilitated by mounting hold-down bracket 10 for pivotal movement about pin 15 when separator bar 11 is removed, thereby providing clear access to the printer platen 16. Upper end 17 of bracket 10 engages a separate hold-down bracket 18 to simultaneously pivot bracket 18 also to the open position. Over-center spring 19 holds bracket 10, either in its open or closed position. Both brackets 10 and 18 include slots for the passage of paper feed pins 20 on a tractor belt.
