Foolproof Insertion Positive Position Operator Removable Cardholder

The illustrated cardholder is easily operator-removable. The cardholde 10 is provided with guide slots 12 each which accepts a pin or screw 14 on the mounting bracket 16. Also on the mounting bracket 16 are holes 18 to assist in detenting the cardholder in its inserted position. The cardholder is formed with tabs 20 which are molded and form outstanding tabs which create between the back surface of the tab and the front surface of the cardholder a channel into which mounting bracket 16 is insertable. On tab 20 are raised portions or buttons 22 which, when the cardholder is in home position, will be seated in holes 18. The seating of the buttons 22 into holes 18 prevents the cardholder from being inadvertently moved or removed and provides a positive positioning device to insure the proper relative location of the cardholder with respect to the print carrier carrying the mounting bracket 16.
