Bond Tip Mounting Gauge

This gauge insures proper and accurate bond tip mounting, eliminating partial or lower strength bonds.

Bonding tip 10 is inserted into the half cylindrical groove 12 in the block 14 while holding the block by grooves 16, with the tip held flush against the wall 18 of the groove and the bonding tip arm 20 resting on the bottom of the cutout 22. The bonding tip is vertical and extended the proper distance below the arm when it is flush with the bottom 24 of the block.
