Abstract

A method is described to permit the user of a Personal Computer to selectively display a simulated calculator memory window when it is not being used. In this arrangement when the Personal Computer (PC) is simulating a calculator, the contents of memory are displayed in a memory window 10 on the screen of the PC. When the content of memory is zero, the memory window is removed to unclutter the screen, as shown in Fig. 1b. The contents of memory can be changed through the Memory Operators (M+,M-).
