Abstract

A arrangement is described and illustrated in Figs. 1 and 2 which improves the cable/board interconnect from a human factors standpoint. The connector shown in Fig. 1 has a handle 11 and uses a cam action to assure land to land contact by the rubber compliance element 12. Use is a quick, easy, one hand operation. A keeper spring 14 on each edge keeps the connector in place. A similar arrangement is shown in Fig. 3.
