Abstract

A cradle arrangement is described which eliminates amajor problem in maintaining the proper height for printed circuit back-up support. As shown in the figure, this cradle 10 is designed to locate on the tool plate 11 where the workboard holder 12 rests. The cradle 10 is fabricated to +.000" - .015" tolerance, and the foam pad 13 that sits on top is also accurate to +.015. The printed circuit (PC) panel to be cut rests on the workboard holder 12 and is supported by pad 13.
