Abstract

A diskette jacket is made of paper and has perforations for storing in a ring binder. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the diskette jacket is made from a single piece of paper stock comprising a front panel 10 and a rear panel 11. Front panel 10 has side flaps 12 and 13 with top flap 14 extending from top tab 15. Rear panel 11 is folded along fold line 16, bringing its top edge 17 above the top edge 18 of front panel 10 and in line with fold line 19 in top tab 15. Side flaps 12 and 13, coated with adhesive are then folded along fold lines 20 and 21 for bonding to the outside of rear panel 11. Top flap 14 which is also coated with adhesive is folded along fold line 19 and bonded to the outside of rear panel 11.

The reinforced edge formed by side flap 13 and top flap 14 is perforated with holes 22 and 23 for receiving and retention by the rings of a binder. The packet eliminates the requirement of a separate plastic holder for the diskette packets in ring binders.
