Abstract

In the current implementation of the PROFS Program Product, if a user forwards or resends a meeting notice to another user, the user that receives the note cannot add the meeting notice to his calendar because he was not an original attendee of the meeting. This may occur if a user cannot attend a meeting and wishes to have another person attend in his place, or if meeting notices are sent to managers who must then in turn forward the meeting notice to people within the department. With this enhancement, the user in-basket processing will recognize the forwarded or resent note as a meeting notice and allow the user to add the meeting notice to his calendar the same way he would if he were on the original list of attendees.
