Abstract

Paper 2, printed in printer 1, exits through slot 3 in housing 4. Having left slot 3, the two edges of paper 2 are each supported by one guide rail 5. The weight component, active perpendicularly to the exit direction of the paper, causes paper 2 to be slightly bent. The resultant longitudinal bend stabilizes paper 2, thus preventing its displacement in the direction of arrow 6.
