Snap On Fan Guard

An arrangement which eliminates hardware and time required to assemble a fan guard is shown below.

The fan guard 10 consists of a single molded piece with snap in features to facilitate mounting to an equipment cooling fan 11. One of the four snap tabs 12 may be a mounting hole for use of grounding hardware with AC fans if grounding is required. This could be mold insert. The snap tab could be "break away," leaving a mounting hole.
