Abstract

Novel copolymers having the following structure have been prepared: (Image Omitted) Compound I has a degradation temperature in the range of 318 degrees C to 480 degrees C, and compound II has a degradation temperature in the range of 305 degrees C to 56O degrees C. The degradation temperature compares favorably with the thermal properties of Pyrml (Image Omitted) which has a degradation temperature range of 303 degrees C to 570 degrees C. Compounds I and II are soluble in dimethyl acetamide.
