Abstract

Fingerstock material which is usually used between machine frames and covers has been considerably improved. The stock has two fingers 10,12 which extend up from a base portion 14 and overlap. The finger members are curved so that they fit together to obtain a uniform rate of deflection throughout the deflection cycle. It should be appreciated that a continuous wiping action occurs between the contact surfaces where they overlap insuring adequate electrical path for dissipation and shielding effectiveness.
