Multiple Hologram Readout

The basic readout arrangement is described in "Multiple Hologram Readout",
J. B. Tait, IBM Technical Disclosure Bulletin, Volume 11, No. 11, April 1969, page 1391.

In the present improvement, the holograms are provided with respective different diffraction efficiencies, e.g., by controlling their respective exposure and developing parameters. The holograms are then arranged for readout in a successive order of increasing diffraction efficiency relative to the incident light beam.
