Abstract

Electrophotographic images are transferred from drum 10 to paper 11 by corona 12. Transfer plate 13 is provided with rounded edges such as 14 to avoid creation of large local fields as produced by sharp corners, as large local fields tend to disturb the powder image on paper 11 as it passes therethrough.
