Abstract

In planar package 1 wiring consists of sets of horizontal and vertical lines. Groups of modules A forming the same logic unit are connected to selected lines of the same set of vertical lines, breaks being made in the wiring as necessary, and logic units are connected by connector modules 8 which consist of crosspoints by means of which selected vertical lines are connected to horizontal lines. Modules 8 can be hand wired or electrically changeable. Alternatively, modules A can contain their own crosspoints in which case all modules can be mounted in a column on a single set of lines.
