Abstract

This vertical guide for paper stackers is easily adjustable to accommodate various length forms and may be hinged downward to facilitate removal of the stacked forms. As shown in Fig. 1, the guide consists of a base plate 1 to which a strip of magnetic material 2 is fastened. A plastic hinge 3 connects the base plate to vertical plate 4. The hinge 3 is designed with a "Z" type fold so that the base plate exerts a spring-like pressure to force the vertical plate into an upright position for stacking, as shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 3 shows the vertical plate 4 lowered to facilitate removal of the forms.
