Abstract

This is a water soluble flux formulation particularly adapted for use in conjunction with epoxy materials. The general water soluble flux formulation is as follows:. Glycerine 40-70% by weight Butyl Cellosolve 20-60% by weight Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) 0.0-0.7% by weight A preferred specific formulation is as follows: Glycerine 50% by weight Butyl Cellosolve 49.7% by weight Hydrochloric Acid 0.3% by weight.

Water Soluble Flux

This is a water soluble flux formulation particularly adapted for use in conjunction with epoxy materials. The general water soluble flux formulation is as follows:. Glycerine 40-70% by weight Butyl Cellosolve 20-60% by weight Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) 0.0-0.7% by weight A preferred specific formulation is as follows: Glycerine 50% by weight Butyl Cellosolve 49.7% by weight Hydrochloric Acid 0.3% by weight.

This water soluble flux formulation is characterized by the nondegradation of protective coating materials.
