Linear Array Connector

Each column of an X-Y array of terminal connectors 10 will mate with a linear array of identical connectors 12. The linear array of connectors 12 are held in position by rail 14. Rail 14 has lips 16 to match grooves 18 in connectors
12. Connectors 12 slide down rail 14 until the rail is full.

End brackets 20 provide a stop to keep connectors 12 inside rail 14 and also provide guidance for the total linear array connector assembly when it is slipped over a column of connectors 10. End brackets 20 slip into rail 14 along lips 16 which mate with grooves 22 in brackets 20. Protrusions 24 snap into holes 26 to hold end brackets 20 in position.
