Abstract

Cable 10 is electrically connected to pins, not shown, mounted inside connector 12. The exterior of connector 12 has two flanges 14 formed on its walls. When the connector is mounted on mount 16, flanges 14 engage grooves 18 to hold the connector. Cable 10 is then clamped to mount 16 with bracket 20. Bracket 20 holds cable 10 against mount 16 so as to act as a strain relief on the electrical connections between cable 10 and the pins in connector 12.
